Met some interesting people, went on a fun boat tour. The hostel had free Wi-Fi, concierge services, and a TV in the common area. they have a strategic sheep game, not to be underestimated.
Oh, wait, there were no cons because this place was perfect. Just kidding, there's always something to complain about, right?

I chose Levanten Hostel solely for its proximity to Sultanahmet District. But I was pleasantly surprised by the library they had, which allowed me to relax and read during my downtime. Also, the communal kitchen was great for preparing my own meals, and the trendy cafeteria with its flat-screen TV was a nice place to unwind while enjoying a drink or snack.
Awful room, but quickly resolved. Reception guy's unreliable directions.

I had an incredible time at Levanten! the hostel is located on a charming street close to Taksim Square and Istiklal Street, which is filled with bars and restaurants for a fun night out. the main tourist attractions are just a gorgeous one-hour walk away, making it a perfect location. the hostel itself is cozy and clean, with just minor issues with the toilet and shower that need to be fixed, but overall cleanliness is maintained. the staff went above and beyond to help us with a luggage problem, making calls to the airport and patiently waiting for a resolution. Thank you, Levanten staff, for your kindness and assistance!
Everything was great! 👌.

Great location, just a few steps away from an important square and a famous street. The staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful, making my stay even better. The room was clean and spacious, with enough space for everyone. the toilets and showers were clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay.
There were a few downsides to my experience. the bed was not very comfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

the location was fantastic, as it was very close to the center of the city and I could easily explore all the main attractions. the room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, and the shared bathroom was always spotless with hot water. the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, always willing to assist with any questions or requests. there was a shared kitchen with plenty of utensils for cooking, making it convenient for those on a budget.
The wifi connection was not very strong, but that didn't bother me much as I was more focused on exploring the city.

I had a fantastic experience at Levanten! Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the staff who immediately made me feel at home. They even offered me a refreshing cup of Turkish tea, which was a delightful introduction to the local culture. My room was comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The next day, I needed help planning a trip to Cappadocia, and the staff, particularly Oskan, went above and beyond to assist me. They took the time to book my accommodations, flights, transportation, and even organized a hot air balloon ride for me. When my flight was delayed and I missed my bus, Oskan provided me with detailed instructions on the best alternative route. Similarly, when I encountered another delay on my way back, Oskan guided me on how to get back in time. The service I received at Levanten was exceptional, and I highly recommend this hostel to anyone. The atmosphere is great, the location is convenient, and the staff is truly the best you could ask for. I will definitely be recommending this hostel to others.

I stayed at Levanten for the Istanbul Marathon and had a great experience. The hotel's location near Taksim Square was perfect for easy access to the race. The double room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had good hot water. The staff were friendly and helpful, even giving us a free late check out so we could shower after the race. The lounge area downstairs was warm and welcoming. a pleasant stay at a relatively inexpensive place.
I do recommend this hotel.
